1. Where are you getting married?
We’re getting married at the Stonegate Conference & Banquet Centre in Hoffman Estates. The ceremony and reception will take place at the same location.

2. How do I get to the venue?
The Stonegate is right near the Barrington Road I-90 interchange in Hoffman Estates.

From the north: Take Route 53 south to I-90 west to Barrington Road. Exit south and travel for approximately one-quarter mile to Higgins Road (72). Turn left onto Higgins and then turn right into The Stonegate.

From the south: Take I-355 north to I-290 west to I-90 west to Barrington Road. Exit south and travel for approximately one-quarter mile to Higgins Road (72). Turn left onto Higgins and then turn right into The Stonegate.

From the east: Take I-90 west to Barrington Road. Exit south and travel for approximately one-quarter mile to Higgins Road (72). Turn left onto Higgins and then turn right into The Stonegate.

From the west: Take I-90 east to Route 59. Exit north and travel for approximately one-quarter mile to Higgins Road (72). Turn right onto Higgins. The Stonegate will be after the intersection of Higgins and Barrington Road, about 1 mile from Route 59.

3. What time should I arrive?
Our ceremony is set to begin at 5:00 p.m. Feel free to arrive a few minutes before we start to mingle and find a good seat!

4. What should I wear?
Phil and I will be dressed to the nines in our finest, but please wear whatever you’re comfortable in. We intend to party well into the night, so be ready to dance and have a good time, whatever you’re wearing!

5. Does your wedding have a theme?
Nope! We’re just going to say our vows, get married, and have a great party to celebrate! Consider that our theme!

6. I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?
We’ve reserved a block of rooms at the Comfort Inn & Suites, Hoffman Estates, which is just a couple miles from the venue. Please book your room by September 13 to receive the reduced rate of $74.99/night.

7. Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes!

8. What should/could I do between the ceremony and the reception?
There will be a cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony, and then dinner will start at approximately 6:30. Everything is in one place, so you won’t need to fill a gap between the ceremony and reception.

9. Will food be served?
Yes (and not that I’m biased or anything, but the food is AMAZING!)! Aside from dinner, we’ve also got some other surprises planned, so come hungry! If you have a dietary restriction or special request, please let us know when you send in your RSVP.

10. Will there be dancing?
Absolutely! We’ve requested that our DJ play some of our favorites and make sure there’s plenty to dance to. If you have any special requests, let us know in the comments!

11. What time will the reception end?
We plan to end around 11:30 p.m.

12. Can I take pictures?
Of course!

13. Is there a gifts registry?
Phil and I are registered at Bed Bath & Beyond.

14. What if I want to donate to a cause instead of give a gift?
We absolutely encourage it! Furthermore, if you have a special talent you’d be willing to use to help us make our wedding as amazing as possible, please let us know. Love to take pictures? We can always use more pics! Have a gift with words? We could use help writing our ceremony! Let us know!
